Tom Alexander -Tom is an instructor of Jazz, Tap and Lyrical along with Judging and Choreographing nationwide for Dance Makers Inc., Southern Association of Dance Masters, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Dance Teachers United, Jazz On Tap Festival Spark Intensive. He began dancing at age 13 with Master Teacher Ray Hollingsworth and has worked with stars such as Debbie Reynolds, June Allyson, Dolly Parton, Rita Moreno, Marie Osmond, Ella Fitzgerald and Bob Hope. Tom’s beginnings on the professional stage were with Carowinds, Busch Gardens and Tokyo Disneyland theme parks. Tom also taught in Japan for Shojiku Kageki Dan and Osaka Kageki Dan dance companies, performed, co-choreographed and trained dancers for Crystal Cruises. His most recent work for Crystal Cruises was co- choreographing their newest million dollar musical entitled “Standing Room Only.” He has taught dance at Buffa’s Dance Studio Ltd. in Northern VA since 1984. Tom was featured in two articles in the Dance Studio Life Magazine July and September issues.
Theresa Crawford has over 40 years of experience teaching Classical Ballet to children. She was trained as a teacher by her aunt, Marcia Dale Weary, the founder and Artistic Director of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. While still a student, Ms. Crawford was encouraged to begin studying her aunt’s original and highly successful teaching methods. She founded and managed her own schools as well as a non-profit children’s ballet company in Michigan. Crawford was the Principal of Orlando Ballet’s largest feeder school in Orlando Florida. She was on the faculty of the Georgia Ballet where she began an Intensive program for talented young students and was also instrumental in the foundation of DanceAbility, a program for children with special needs. Crawford’s background includes 15 years on the permanent faculty of CPYB and teaching in their nationally renowned summer course continuously since 1979. Several of Ms. Crawford’s students have or are currently performing with well-known companies in Europe, Canada and the United States. She is a certified Pilates instructor specializing in Dance Pilates and studied under Anthony Rabara in Princeton, New Jersey. Ms. Crawford has been teaching mat and reformer classes since 1997. She privately coaches all levels of ballet students, and has been a guest instructor in California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Guangzhou, China. Theresa is the author of “The Ballet Garden”, a non-fiction picture book for children.

Liz Fink is a dancer, choreographer, and educator located in northern Maryland. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Shenandoah Conservatory, where she was a recipient of the Bergmann Choreography Award. Liz is currently in her second year as Dance Faculty at the University of Delaware. Prior to joining the dance faculty, Liz assisted former Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago company member Elijah Gibson during his residency at the University of Delaware. Liz has danced professionally, touring internationally with InterTOUR Dansa in Spain and France, a tour sponsored by the Catalan government. She was an invited company member, performing with The Doniphan Project, in Tupelo, MS and Washington, DC. Liz currently dances professionally with Alternative Dance Project under the artistic direction of Danielle Sten-Guillermo and Lance Guillermo, and InvisibleWings Dance Project under the direction of Lauren Carnesi. Liz has been on faculty at the Maryland Council Dance Festival, a state festival that hosts between 500-600 students, taught master classes, served as a judge for the intercollegiate Evolve Dance Competition, and performed in music videos for local DC artists. Currently Liz has been commissioned to set work for Kinetic Canvas, a production of Harford Dance Theater of Harford Community College, set to premiere in July 2016. She is on staff, teaching and choreographing, at Cecil Dancenter, in North East, MD, Delaware Arts Conservatory in Bear, DE, and Rage Box Dance Center in Forest Hill, MD. Liz pushes creative boundaries in her choreography and teaching, through the use of dynamics, and innovative movement and partnering, while creating a comfortable yet inspiring atmosphere for her dancers. Liz grew up dancing at ESP and is thrilled to back to teach as a guest artist!
