Race Description – Get ready for a beautiful race course at the foot of the mountains in early autumn. The course is flat with several small rolling hills. It is partially on a road and partially on a flat trail.

Race Location – The race will be held at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. It is held behind the Knott ARCC with the race start and finish at Waldron Stadium.

Parking – Ample parking is available in the parking lot next to Waldron Stadium.

Registration Fee – The registration fee for the 5K race is $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for students.

Registration Deadline – Online registration will be available until Thursday, September 29 @ 11:59 pm. The registration deadline to receive a t-shirt is Friday, September 23 @ noon. Onsite registration will be available from 7:30 til 8:30 am on race day.

Packet Pick-Up – You may pick up your packet on Thursday, September 29 or Friday, September 30 from 5 to 7 pm at the Elower-Sicilia Productions dance studio located at Water Street, Thurmont, MD 21788. Packets will also be available for pick up on race day from 7:30-race start at Mount Saint Mary’s University.

T-Shirts, Amenities, Awards – T-Shirts will be guaranteed to all 5K participants registered by September 23 at noon. Several prizes will be awarded for the 5K race. There will be snacks and beverages provided for a post-race celebration and fellowship.
