Elower Sicilia Productions Performing Company is a nonprofit company that has been competing and performing for 30 years. The dancers in the company enjoy performing in any capacity and specialize in being well-rounded dancers. They perform locally whenever possible and enjoy sharing their talents on a volunteer basis for the community. Company dancers spend the majority of their time in dance class and rehearsal. The company competes several times a year and ends the season with a national competition.
The company dancers hold several fundraisers per year to support their efforts. These fundraisers include but are not limited to two golf tournaments and a showcase/auction event.
At ESP, the primary goal is to teach life lessons through dance and performing. The company dancers learn and grow through classes and performances. We think of ourselves as a performing group, not a competitive team. We do not compete to "win" or "lose" but to grow as dancers, meet new people, and most of all have fun showcasing our talent!
The dancers and directors of the company have many accomplishments including touring with professional dance companies, movies, cruise ships, assisted master teachers at conventions, and in theaters both local and abroad. In 2005 the ESP Performing Company qualified for Team USA to represent the country in the World Showdance and Hip Hop Championships in Germany. In 2009 the ESP Performing company was invited to be the only schoool in Maryland to represent our State in an international dance event that involves 35 countries. Company achievements also include many scholarship winners and award winning choreography at regional and national levels as well as national title winners.
